    Luckily one of the books with the name Basto in the National Library of Portugal was digitized, so I could compare the owner marks, what do you think?

    Looks the same to me. I certainly see "D. Ant° Miguel" and "Basto." "D" is an abbreviation for the honorific "Dom" which translates to "Sir" and is used to refer to a gentlemen. (Think of "Esquire" in English.) Of course, Ant° is an abbreviation for "Antonio." Dunno what sar.to means.
