Featured My small WW2 display

    Here are a few pictures of my WW2 display. No real direction of the "collection" other that it all was pieces that my wife's uncles on one side or the other brought home. We have been able to figure out some of there service. Her father was a Navy SeaBee (stationed on Guam) late in the war, one uncle was an Army medic in the Pacific, another was an MP in European front, one brother (unknown unit or job) was in Africa, the Med and Europe, another was Navy on an escort carrier in the Atlantic, and one we never found if he left the states or not and the last was Navy but unknown what ship or duty. These were from both her mother's side and father's side. All came home.

    Picture of my FIL on Guam, late 1945 he would have just turned 18 having joined when he was 17.

    Very cool collection! The Greatest Generation, they were all Hero's! Thanks for posting this.
