Mystery US coin silver maker mark?

    Tried looking at a few websites and wasn't quite able to identify this mark. I looked at all makers under M and W just in case, I am thinking it is a W though. Any help?

    I don't know - with those strongly slanted outer strokes, it really looks like a 'W' to me, as well as the typical orientation of the star on the right (left appears more like a 5-pointed asterisk), and the Moulton mark appears to be two 6-pointed asterisks. Interesting that his one time partner's name started with a 'W'...

    This may be the first coin silver spoon I have found that I can't identify argh!
