    Hi again.

Here's another find from last weekend's great success.

It's titled "N.Y. Spring 1978", is numbered 14/15, and has one other faint script I can't read. Maybe "no."?

The frame itself 16" x 22", and the paper the print's on goes nearly to the edge of the frame, ie, no matte.

    Image itself is 4.5" x 7"

As you can see, the back says Nancy Anello. As far as I can find, she was the 'printer' who worked with some pretty big artists. I guess I don't totally understand how to separate the printer's role from the artist's, beyond the obvious.

But the more important question is, if she was a printer, who was this artist?

    Thank you as always!

Well, now that I've learned a bit more about photo etching, it seems likely that Nancy Anello is the 'artist' too-- she worked from a photo itself. Perhaps she was the photographer too.

Ok-- I just found another photo etching by her that sold for $5. So the good news is, I should be able to get my money back on this. ;)

(I should really do more research before I ask questions here! Oh well.)

Gotta love that hand saw on the wall...

    A nice mini bio.

    Thanks for the info.
