Here's another one from the $5 box at yesterday's collectible show.

At first I thought this might be an etching, but I don't see any impression marks from the plate, so maybe it's a pen and ink drawing?

    Signed 'Berger' or 'Bergel.'

Handwritten on the back: "new name: "Tide Whispers""

    Image is 11" x 7"; framed it's appx 16" x 14"

    Thank you any help!!

I think that might be Berger. Many artists by that last name but I didnt find a match on signature yet. I love this picture.

Thanks @johnnycb09! I can't quite tell what I think it is, but I like it too.

Yup...but I don't get the R needed for Berger. I see only a pretty clearly defined lower case L.

Wonder if it's not Lorraine Berger who taught art at Northern Texas University in Denton. She donated her works to CVAD Galleries at the school when she died. You can always ask.

Wow-- that's an amazing bit of sleuthing Debora! Thank you so much for that.

I'll contact them tomorrow and will be sure to let you know what I learn.

Well, I found an academic document from the University of North Texas with Lorraine Berger's signature. Looks like it's a match.

    You're amazing @Debora!
