    That's OK...the OP's is like a scarab....I find it quite nice....& I only could find one other similar ...so it may command a premium...!

    So it is, I hadn't noticed that, nice. But not enough of a scarab shape to add Egyptian Revival to the list, that always gets extra attention.

    A LOT!
    We have sold jewellery for 65 euro, that I've seen for 450 or more elsewhere. We always try to be reasonable, some might call it undercutting, but I call some prices highway robbery. And I am not talking about shops in expensive locations.

    Some charity shops here price gold at all the market will stand, and then wonder why nobody bites. One pair of gold and pearl earrings in one store has been there for six months, which ought to be telling them something. At the same time, those same earrings in a consignment store would have been out the door in a week or two at the same price. The auction price is probably somewhere in the middle.
