I'm assuming it’s a NA belt, 2ins wide, 27 ins long, not including the strings.
Found at a rummage sale so no other info. Is it a tourist piece?
I’m pretty clueless, I don't seem to find much of this here in U.K.
    Thanks.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

the seed beads are wonderful...but the tubes throw me off it being NA....
also the way it comes to a point for the rope...does not speack to me of being loomed in a NA style....

Thanks for the info Komokwa. I couldn’t see any of the tube beads in my searches either.

Gorgeous. It is probably from Eastern Europe. I'm thinking Romania, Ukraine.

Tube beads in loom work is very unusual imo too. Tube beads on the other hand for hand made articles in the 1st Q of the 20th C is however not unusual. What throws me more are the colors. The red and black is very 'un' N.A. like and the bead colors in the chevrons and diamonds appear to be more mid 20th C to me. The designs don't strike me as much other than geometric, with the 'illusion' of being N.A. by chance. That's my two cents. FWIW.

The 'tassel' braid is also not seen (or at least I haven't).

I'm guessing Orthodox Church wear of some kind. Maybe Eastern Europe is a good guess.
