Native American (?) Coral Slave Bracelet "LL" mark

Now this could easily be a reproduction. It is certainly very simple. It does have LL marks on the midpiece and ring that are stamped over the Sterling mark. The L's are offset, and I couldn't find that mark in any of the online references. The bracelet has something, but I can't make it out. I'm hoping that it is Native American and not a fake.
I paid under $10 for it, so if it is a fake not much is lost.

As always, any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a bad repair on the bracelet and soldering the 2 half round pieces was poorly done.

Thank you. Not a mark then just a sloppy repair.

@reader. You have been so kind as to comment on some of my other pieces. I got no help on this one. Is this a copy?

Maybe message that site Debora posted & attach your photos, ask them what they think?

Oh! Meant to mention, which you’ve probably noticed, there’s a phone number and email link at top of page via Debora’s link :)

It is a generic SW set, and many were made in the 80s and 90s, probably still are. I believe it to be NA, but not a major maker or of huge value, so no need to fake, imo.
Someone would have started the fashion and others followed, but that doesn't mean they are regarded as copies or fakes.
Knowing the maker won't add value to the set.
Agree. There are many makers who sign LL, you have to make sure it is exactly the same mark. Roughly the same, or the same letters is no good, except if there is properly documented proof that someone did indeed change the positions of the letters.
So many pieces get misattributed because people just assume it is the right mark, or just don't care as long as they can put a name on it. The examples you posted are proof of just that.
It is very frustrating when you are looking for quality pieces by a certain maker.

I agree. It gives the feeling of limited creativity. You know me, I see every comment as an opportunity for research. Many of the examples of his work were collected on one site. His work is very derivative. There is apparently someone who is a more known Livingstone.
    Thank you for your insights.

Sorry-didn’t see this. I think it’s NA but would personally not attribute without knowing. Mark is totally legit and I would think he’d respond to an email.

Response from Debora's source of Native American Marks:

    "Hi Kiko,

I was unable to locate your mark in any of our resource materials so I am not able to identify the artist for you.

We deal mainly on the secondary market so we would not have anyway of contacting Lambert Livingstone.

I am sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Thank you for reaching out!"

I’m confused. Isn’t he the dealer who identified that stamp?

No. I thought you were referencing the suggestion by @Rufus@frockstarvintage comments. I'll email the other source of several pieces of his jewelry instead. Thank you.

I think it does mean that to them, your mark is not the same as the one Lambert Livingstone mark they have.
I agree that the two marks are different.
