Found this at a thrift store and have had no luck in identifying the maker mark. Can any possibly help out at all? Also, should I polish this piece? I personally like patina but I don't think this piece is very attractive tarnished... thoughts? 20220809_202301.jpg 20220809_202254.jpg 20220809_202320.jpg

I couldn’t find it in Hougart’s. It’s a nice but generic Navajo cuff. I personally hate tarnish on my NA pieces and would polish it enough to remove all tarnish. I basically only wear NA, Mexican and Peretti silver and keep all my jewelry untarnished. I like some darkening on vintage pieces but never tarnish. The only HJ stamps I could find were Harlan Joseph (Hopi-that piece is Navajo) and Harry Jake (Navajo) who used periods.

This particular HJ is not in Barton Wright either. Nice cuff, and I agree, likely Navajo. And please clean it.;)
