Can anyone tell me anything about this turtle shell?
Is this considered a blond shell, albino, or just a basic shell without scutes?
I've seen similar shells described as 18th or 19th century found by sailors and polished for 100s of hours on their journey home. Does this look like something like that or just an old turtle shell?[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

No mention of size ........... but it looks like snapping turtle shell and someone probably had it for dinner before cleaning the shell.

If it is snapping turtle there is no problem selling, they are considered a pest in most states and commercially farmed for meat and other products.

Almost a decade ago I listed a turtle shell "medicine bag" on eBay. It was removed and I was soundly chastised.
