Hi all I was hoping to find out if this lamp was made to be an electric lamp or was an oil lamp?
The electrical looks very professional along with the way it goes together.I was thinking with the older cord that this is 1960's?

I think it was made as shown - designed to hang in a basement bar or man cave probably. The bottom is all wrong, for starters, for a real one.

Could, I suppose, but they were never oil-burners.
