Featured Navajo vase with horny toads - Jerry Whitethorne?

    Psyched about this find today. Similar to the piece kraftblue posted earlier today which is kinda cool too. "wedding" vase with horny toads signed JWT - from what I can find online this is the mark of Jerry Whitethorne - Navajo potter. Can anyone confirm that is the case? It's just under 8" high. Thanks!

    Thanks Lucille! Yes in fact I did see that one. There are a few others sprinkled around the internet that seem to indicate the mark is for Jerry Whitethorne - I just don't know this stuff well enough to say for sure:

    That's a tricky one. It seems like a nice pot, no matter what. Looked around a bit --probably everything I found you saw, too. A quick search shows that there are examples where Jerry Whitethorne signed his name in its entirety, so I guess the question I'd have is whether he signed some pieces with just his initials.

    Hopefully someone can id this. Best of luck.
