Here's a query about a New Royal treadled sewing machine with info on manufacturing dating. Seems their may be some controversy on the length of time of manufacturing. Do specifically read Reply #4 and Reply #12.

On the following page is a little history on the companies. The time frame for New Royal seems to be 1898-1924? It seems the company merged and changed times a multitude of times with New Royal becoming a brand name.

Ditto on more pics needed and Serial #. Sometimes the serial number is located under the sliding door where the bobbin goes? Also what is the exact wording of the stenciling on the post/column. I can't read it in your pic or even know there is any words. It would help if the pics were close-ups and crops. I took the liberty editing your pic by cropping and zooming in on it.
