I have two of them. They are from my late grandmother who was an art and antiques collector. She accumulated things from all over the world and my dad says he thinks these are from Venice (where she lived at the time of her death) and from pre-17th century possibly 15th. There are no intentional carvings on them that I can find that would give them more context.

My grandmother unfortunately passed away a year ago and I didn't have a chance to ask her about them, so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated, even if it is just pointing me to a better place to ask if this is the wrong forum.[/QUOTE]
