Hard to say with such small images. Total guess at this point, pending bigger pics, is British pewter perhaps late 1800's.

BTW, the numbers scratched in were likely done by a previous owner and not the maker, so they only meant something to that person.

If you cannot get a better picture of the other underside markings, at least give us a chance to help by typing out what it says.

Does it just say "street address"?

I suspect that what looks like NB (maybe) may actually be "NS" - which stands for nickel silver (an alloy that contains no silver at all.) It is often used "instead of" silver and as a base for silver plate.

The numbers below the address (4933) is a design number and the 4 by itself might be an indication of size.

That's about all I can tell you without Mr. Wright's address and a better look at the way the pot is constructed and decorated.

I would venture to guess that if Cathy has a magnifying glass, she might do better than that.

Maybe @Ownedbybear can find something about him using the street address.

Not sure I can add much to this. The Holloway Road at one time had some pretty decent and higher end shops, including one of the John Lewis sub brands. Name escapes me. Oh, Jones Brothers, that was it. That postcode with no number, just N, dates it to some time between 1858 and WW1. The pot looks late 19th though.
