Featured NEED HELP IDENTIFYING: Antique Jointed Mohair Teddy Bear

Hi, I would love it if somebody could identify this bear.

It is 10 inches long. Feels like it's stuffed with straw. Fully jointed. There is a hole in the back of one of its ears. Unsure if it's a Steiff or something else.

The nose is SO dark, I couldn't see if it's one of theirs (Steiff) or not,
but 'he/she' sure is adorable!!! But this person should know....she deals in selling the vintage ones!!!

Seems after all this time she's in a bit of disarray, as ladies in their dotage sometimes are. Guys seldom make it that long...just sayin'...

Not in the front? The Steiff button is always on the front of the ear.

I may not be seeing it right, but it doesn't seem to have a hump. Steiff bears have a small hump just below the neck.
