Need help identifying hutch!

    This hutch was in a central Missouri home of a friend who recently passed away. I’m just trying to get as much info as possible on it. These pictures are all the info I have.

    It looks like a victorian Eastlake style sideboard,circa 1870s-80s,but those carvings on the back panels throw me. I think someone along the way may have gussied it up,but to me they make it even more charming. Its a great size,not too big,not too small. I love it.

    Eastlake influence. Not sure I would classify it as Eastlake though.

    Pretty wood. Not oak. Maple?

    late 1800s.

    Spoon carved walnut with Eastlake influence as suggested above. About 1890. May not be American since I have never seen an American piece with animal carvings like that.
