Featured Need help Identifying table and chairs

Anyone able to give any insight on?

    Certainly looks like the table could date back to then. The chairs are American circa 1940.

    Can’t find anything online like it. It’s truly fascinating. Underneath you can see where they would wipe ink off their fingers. Thank for date on chairs.

    While the table doesn't scream Biedermeier, you will see some similar ones searching that term. 1815 is about the earliest date for the style so that also fits. Here is the closest I found searching Biedermeier pedestal table......

    That’s what I had assumed it might be. However, never came across this particular image in my searches. This one is very similar.

    Just wondering.....would the labeling not be in German on a piece of this age?

    I think the labeling was added much later.
