Need help to identify this stool

    Hello I got this vintage inlaid stool from a local estate sale. I believe it was used for horse saddle or other related usage. Any suggestion of the age and manufacture? IMG_1465.jpg

    It's based on a camel saddle. They're still available. From the colorway, I'd think not new but not old either. Someone may be able to identify what Near or Far Eastern country it's from by the decoration on the legs and pommel.

    The pattern on the leather looks like Egyptian. So I think this shall be a vintage Egypt camel saddle

    You're right. I see Nefertiti. And the inlay would be bone.

    I'm 51 and I remember my friends parents having one of those when I was around 5, so at least 46 years old.

    I'd think it could be 1960s-1970s-ish.

    I think that patchwork look came in in the 1970s.
