I like to "force" hyacinth bulbs too. After a season of duds, tho, I discovered that changing the water during the hibernation period helped.

 

Wow! All of these responses! I think my email notification isn't working. I just placed both pieces in my mall space. I expect that the green and white bowl will go fast because it's pretty.

But now I want to go back to the mall and get those bulb vases and force me some bulbs! That is so nice. My window sills are not very deep though.
