No marks on the bum or back of the neck? Is she plastic/vinyl?
Knee-jerk reaction is 1960s but let's wait for the experts!

Not hand made. Appears to be hard plastic. Checking my references. Many companies made this type of doll.

As suggested, check back of neck......very close to hairline and on the back of the doll's body.

 

Also check for label on clothing.

 

Size of doll?

 

Judy, there is a ruler in the photo, just along the edge, hard to see. It seems to be a 12" ruler, and it reaches just above her elbow.
It could be 12 cm, in which case she is much smaller.

 

It's an English system ruler; I can see the Metric on the other side. She looks kind of like the composition dolls, but not. Even her wrists are jointed. I'd think late 40s to early 50s, but beyond that dunno.

Looks like a 50s ish, maybe bit earlier, hard plastic walker type thing. Can't really see what she's made of but looks like plastic from here. Pics can be deceiving, could be compo but I don't think so
Certainly not handmade.
Value ... well no idea, this isn't my thing but going for it is it looks well preserved ( no nasty smells are there?) but against is there are tonnes and tonnes of these out there
