    Hello !
    And thank you for the responses so far.
    The piece came to us via estate sale.
    The stone sculpt measures approx.
    6 3/4 inches tall. It is approx. 3 inches wide.
    It weighs approx. 1lb 12 oz.
    The stone is soft, dark mottled green.
    The bottom and back are void of inscription or markings inscription or markings of any kind. Pictures to follow

    I agree with AnyJewelry that it looks Indian (India). Another possibility is the Jain goddess Ambika, often portrayed with one or more children.

    The Balinese make all sorts of comical lingams, but not like this. And they never have mothers.:D Makes sense of course, since the lingam is a symbol of Shiva, who was not born of a woman.
