I've been researching this wine ? glass and have found references linking the pattern to Maximilian of Mexico. What I'm trying to figure out is if that's the pattern name (or what the pattern name is), or how it relates to Maximilian, and when this was made. Any help appreciated! Here's a link to one of the references though there are others out there with the same info.

This is supposedly the connection. It would require verification.

    • The Origin: The renowned Lobmeyr drinking service No. 54 was designed in 1855 and proudly presented at the 1862 London World's Fair.
    • The Royal Patron: Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian, before his tragic stint as the Emperor of Mexico, was an avid patron of the arts. He commissioned this distinguished service along with matching, incredibly ornate "Morning Glory" chandeliers.
