Need help with wood bowl

If anyone can help with type of wood and information on this it is appreciated. Seems like this is all individual pieces of wood put together

 

Are you sure it isn't resin? Looks like mold marks on the sides.

 

No not resin it is individual pieces of wood and lacquered if you look in the middle of both bowl and plate there you can see the circle piece

 

It is chrysanthemum wood,my mother had a couple trinket boxes.

There is however a distinct line where the wood-grain on one side of the line does not match the grain on the other side.
This is a characteristic of wood items which have been lathe-turned from a block of wood which was assembled from smaller blocks.
So, lathe-turned wood, and the wood species was identified above, as I was typing.
