Need Help

This is what I just got back from the son who we bought the house from.

The chandelier is very old. My mother bought it in the early 1960s. She bought it in St. Louis. It came out of a very old hotel in St. Louis.
The chandelier was originally gas. So that tells you how old it is. I would b guess it is between 100 to 150 years old, maybe older. It was wired for electric before it was installed. Installation was with a crane through the front window.
I understand it is very heavy. Be careful in removing it if that is what you decide
