I am not certain it says spazza. What is to the left of the S? Do you have a 'supermacro' setting on your camera?

This is better. Could say 'spalla', 'shoulder'. Not much sense in that either, but want to open other possibilities. Is there another mark left of the S?

 

No mark before S and at the end. It is just darker places

 

I found a reference for the Italian Epiphany tradition about La Befana. A lady who brings gifts on the Epiphany to all good children, coal to bad children and then sweeps up afterwards. That is symbolic for sweeping away all troubles for a fresh start. You can click this link or search La Befana for more info. So maybe this bowl was used for serving on that day. No one goes to work that day, it sounds like a pretty big deal.

Some other examples of his work had this mark and some had slightly different hallmarks and that's a little confusing.

 

Maybe the scalloped grooves inside were for serving mussels! LOL Bizarre construction.

Hello, thank you for reply. The mark and flowers are the same. But about Germany as country of origin, not sure. Italian words can't be sure for 100%

 

No it is just darker silver. Or camera. No any marks more. Just KH 800 and Italian words on 1 leg
