OMG! You have one of the Royal Albert Imari patterns (there are several). IMHO, close to the best, but all might not agree. And this set is older, maybe 1930-40s.

You can look here to find it http://www.royalalbertpatterns.com/index.htm but it won't be easy because you have to know the name of the pattern in order to search for it. Also, look under Marks to date it. I just did a deep dive on the Imari patterns for some that I found. Some have names, some have numbers, and some are unidentified. It was rough. I wrote down a few names, but can't currently find them. (my husband "cleaned" the top of the desk, if only he would clean the bathroom!). I remember Derby, Devon, Heritage and #6550. I think most collectors don't really care if all of their Imari matches, because a lot of it basically looks the same.

If I were a bridesmaid, I would love to receive the Royal Albert. But you could see how much it brings and likely it will allow you to buy of the other types of china. However, since it's so old, it could take awhile and I don't know how much time you have. Personally, I'd keep it as part of your "finds".
