Maybe Scandinavia and Switzerland....</p><p><br /></p><p>Assorted small foreign, what we coin folk call &#039;minors&#039; won&#039;t have any&nbsp; silver in them after about 1950, mid 60&#039;s for richer countries. In general they are worth about $10 a kilo if silverless. You&#039;ll have a good chance if you pay $5 a pound or so, of finding something intersting, but you&nbsp; are far more likely to this in a jumble of coins in a box with other junk than in what appears to be a collection.</p><p>If that is going for a few bucks at your local sale, that&#039;s probably all it&#039;s worth.</p><p><br /></p><p>Some of my best coin finds have been among stuff tucked away in drawers and forgotten. </p><p><br /></p><p>Larger coins like your 2 1/2 gulden are more sought&nbsp; after, they usually had a worthwhile value at the time and tend to be scarcer, but again, after the 1950s they were usually copper nickel and pretty common.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you do see something that looks interesting. you know where to come for some quick comments.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
