Need some help.

    So I was in my back yard digging holes for my new fence and I found this. The numbers on the bottom read 5703, hoping someone has some insight into what this is and if it has any value.

    Could it be part of a candlestick? The weighted ones tend to break around their joints.

    looks like an old pewter salt shaker depending on its size.

    I don't think it has any value - too far gone. Might have been silver plated zinc originally.
