Featured Need some info on antique punch bowl

I recently acquired a hand painted porcelain punch bowl. It's a two-piece bowl/stand. It has markings on each piece of B&Co over the word France. It also has a signature of
ES Wilcox. Any info would be helpful. Thanks. Photos are attached.

 

It was likely painted by a amateur female painter on an imported blank. What state did you find it in?

I agree that it is an amateur painted piece on a Bernardaud Limoges porcelain blank. Many amateurs used this factory's blanks. Probably around 2nd quarter 20th century.

Limoges supplied lots of blanks for hobbyist china painters. Usually, though, hobbyists sign on the base and often with the date. This one is early 20th c. I'm pretty sure.

You can search on ebay under "Limoges Hand Painted punch Bowl" and check completed (sold) listings. With a hobbyist painted piece, the sale price depends on how appealing the bowl is to people searching ebay since there's no specific pattern and no well known porcelain decorating house. Plus, you have no cups with it.

 

And shipping safely will be problematic and expensive.

 

I wasn't thinking about selling it on ebay, just getting a price that people would be willing to pay. I was thinking maybe a local FB sale for pickup.
