Featured New lamps for old!

    Dropped by one of my favourite second-hand stores yesterday, had a good look around, nothing much ... then I saw this lamp ..it was in such good condition at first I thought it was some horrible retro crap but looking at the wiring/plug gave it away as an original thing from it's time ..early 70's imho ...a Gilbert Products "softlite" - lights up nicely!

    Now who gets it for Xmas is the next question ...:confused:

    It's an appropriate Christmas gift since there's a red capped mushroom that shows up a lot during the season.

    yer right about flat surfaces...they are at a premium.....but that lamp is way to sweeeeet , to not have come home with you !!!!!!:):):)
