New Member introduction

Hi there!

My name is Michael and just recently stumbled upon this forum and very glad I did!

A little about myself..
I am 25 years young, I’m married, and have one “disabled” son. One of my hobbies is fine wood working. I am employed as a machinist (CNC programming and job set up) along with book buying and selling as a side gig, what I would consider more of another hobby. Reason for this consideration is because of how I got into the side business. I have a passion for reading writings from and about historic Christian theologians (Ex. Augustine, Calvin, Knox and of course Luther), along with other thinkers that contributed to much of our modern beliefs and knowledge in general.

So my book buying started off as just buying books for myself to read from used book stores, thrift stores, and online if I couldn’t find what I needed in stores. I’m sure many of you can relate, but I started purchasing so many books to put in my bookcase, knowing I still had many books I bought and have yet to read. So my collection grew. Recently, I ran into financial issues with all the medical expenses piling up with my son whom has Down syndrome, and pretty much every health issue possible to be associated with it. Decided to down size my collection and realized how much profit I was making from books I paid like a quarter for at a thrift store! So now I just keep buying whenever I run into good deals and dated/rare items.

Anyway, glad to be here and will post a question about one of my recent finds within the next day or so.
