Featured New question re. artistic plate

  1. Possibly Italian. The mark below is from an 1894 book of pottery marks. Very beautiful plate, by the way.

    I have a large (22" diameter) wall plate with fruit decoration hanging in my kitchen. It's marked Italy on the back. I can't find my original post, but Walter ID'd it. I don't recall if there was an exact maker (don't think so) but Walter said it was typical of Italian design, not rare, but unusual because of it's large size.
