I've found a fair bit marked like this, but no one seems to know who used the mark.

    One whole quid yesterday.

Ditto, and I can't find it in my info either. Probably 1960s-70s.
Sweet little pendant with beautiful stone.

That’s lovely. Could it be the name of the mine?

Mostly what you see is speculation about who made these IVAN V pieces.
"The cuff was made by the Diné (Navajo) silversmith “Ivan V.” often confused with the contemporary silversmiths Ivan Howard and Ivan Kee. His work however is much, much, older. There is also some controversy as to whether he is a member of the Zuni or Navajo Nation.
What we do know is that Ivan worked as a silversmith during the Native American Jewelry Renaissance (1960-1980). The majority of his jewelry designs employed elements (Feathers, Squash blossoms, Oxidation, Turquoise) which were traditional to the Navajo silversmithing community at that time.
A few pieces incorporate gemstone inlay which is the hallmark of Zuni artistry however Ivan’s work is generally considered Navajo."
IOW, they don't know who it was.

They never put the name of the mine on NA jewellery.

It shall remain a mystery. The seller had some nice bits and bobs, but thought this was a nothing. I knew better. ;)

For a whole pound? That's nearly the five-fingered discount price.

I grabbed it very quickly believe me. I also bought some other nice bits from her, which were “expensive”. A whole fiver each.
