    i folks

found this today in our local charity shop, for the price of a pint of milk

it looks all hand made and sports some beautiful looking woods

would think it was made yesterday, maybe canadian ?

not sure if it has a specific use, maybe just a trinket

any help on a maker would be great

its missing the plug that secures it tight :(

    any info appreciated

nice woods as well, wonder what that dark brown and black wood is

gather the wallmart ones have gotta be mass produced to sell them that cheap, with all the work it must take

My 1st post! The background behind the moose is the state of Michigan.

Most definitely Michigan. You have the Toledo strip bottom right. The correct shorelines for Lake Michigan left, Lake Huron right. Upper left, you have the Grand Traverse Bay. The highest point of the lower peninsula matches where the Mackinaw bridge would be. And, the thumb does jut out, just not as much as it should.

Charlie and his Moose box are in England so I doubt that whether it resembles Michigan or not will make a difference.
