Not sure year made 3 drawer dresser

Any help appreciated...bought for son to use in his new house refinished as it needed it. See before and after photos .
On reverse numbers 300 33 98
Drawers are dovetailed front and back
Sides are some form of veneer on pressboard the rest appears to be walnut
Any help much appreciated

 

1980-something is my guess. Looks a lot better messed with.

 

I think the 98 is for 1998.

 

Probably no earlier than 1980 and could be a decade or two later.

 

The 98 is not for the year, guess it's a manufacturer number they seem to have used crazy numbers even in kent coffey etc lines

 

I thought 1970s to 1980s but its a really well made dovetail drawers slide on wood divider which is routered. Due to sides being pressed wood had to cut off damage but still left a very nice functioning dresser in my humble opinion

 

Are you referring to my restaining? The 2 stains do make the piece look alot better
