Featured Odd Cuff Bracelet

    Not marked, metal is not silver, I think the "stone" is glass but not sure. It has a high polish which I'm not sure you can tell from the photos.
    Any thought as to origin, age? The stone has slight movement but is held securely in the bezel and also by the 2 side leafy elements. Do you think it is original to the bracelet?

    The brass of the bracelet has a good amount of use wear that seems inconsistent with what I would think a gem of glass would show. It may be a cut stone.

    Looks artisan made, any time from 1980 to present. No reason the stone would not be stone & original to the cuff. A jasper of some sort.

    Thank you everyone. It makes sense that it would be more beat up if it were glass, as antidiem said, and stone is completely smooth and polished, no nicks or chips.

    Than you, INH. It is a dark spot, ever so slightly indented. Looks like there should be a mark there but there is nothing. I polished the spot and looked under high magnification. Nothing.
