Broken up in syllables, this comes pretty close: too-vá-llig-er-wáy-zer
See, Dutch isn't difficult at all.:hilarious:

I think Marie, Magna, Laura and Magdalene were his wives. Numbers 1, 3 and 4 bore sons. Son Jørgen took over the firm, according to the German version of Wikipedia. I'm not sure whether or not he was a designer, but even if he was he doesn't seem to be known for design. Georg's son Søren was a designer, as is the surviving youngest son Ib Georg.

Nice to know. They look and feel lovely.

I think they could be. Fairly light and a damaged area looks like a chipped tooth.

Could be. The smaller beads in between appear to be gilded rather than gold:

What's the giveaway for fake blue coral?

Ah, I see the pearls much better in that photo. Too big for rice seed pearls. regular cultivated pearls, cerclé, if you like.
And yes, the spacer beads are unlikely to be gold. Gilded or simply goldtone.
Oops, I meant faux turquoise.:shame: I'll change it. It is probably dyed howlite.

I'm fairly certain they're gilded. On my last photo you might be able to spot a couple of flakes of gold as well as some no-longer-glistening stone (I think) spacers.

Yet another thing I'd never heard of! Thanks, AJ.

Eh, all those darned patronymic Scandinavian surnames - Jørgen Jensen, born in 1931, who produced all the pewter work, was unrelated to Georg Jensen (don't know if he trained there, but possible since GJ was a large concern, with many workers). Georg's son Jørgen Jensen, 1896-1966, was indeed a designer, though not particularly prominent as one. The 'Jensensilver' site Bear referenced belongs to Soren Jensen, who is from Denmark, and deals in silver, but is also no relation to the famed Georg Jensen...

Maybe we should ban the name Jensen.;)

We have a couple of Jensens here in the Netherlands too, but as far as I know, they are all of Danish origin. Our equivalent is Jansen or Janssen, which is just as prolific.

That is usually a sign of gold-tone, not gilded.

Our is Johnson. Not going there....

The blue with pearls and gold tone screams 80s.

Heh, in my family there are Danish surnames, Hansen, Olsen, and Andersen, my cousin on the other side is a Swedish Olson - been a bit of genealogical research on the Danes, possible only because they didn't emigrate until the late 1800s, so some records were available...

Just a quick note, the #11 necklace is almost certainly Brazilian, likely 1960s-'70s, though could be later, the selection of stones and wire-wrapping is typical...

My father brought similar wire-wrapped stuff back from Brazil in the mid-60s. Necklaces, but also cocktail forks and coffee spoons.

Yes, agreed - I've several wire wrapped ones and also boxed spoons which are Brazilian.

Are you thinking Prime Minister or the Gypsies?.
Round here that name is synonymous with travellers.
