At the moment can't help you on the maker of this bracket oil lamp font. The pattern of this glass is usually called Frosted with Clear Bar. Thuro's Oil Lamps, The Kerosene Era in North America, p. 172, figures: a, b, & c. has this pattern in 3 different shaped fonts. None of the fonts is a bracket font like yours. She gives no maker's name and mentions no maker's mark on any of them. One of the fonts does have "Patent Applied For" embossed around the peg. I assume this glass pattern was probably made by more than one glass manufacturer with the over all lamp maker buying the fonts from the glass makers. The author doesn't give any dates on them either, but they are all mounted on iron stem-bases that date in the late 1870s. This is no proof that your font dates to that same time for this glass font pattern may have been for a couple of decades.

I have a frosted clear bar font. There was a thread about lamp that at first I thought was this pattern back in 2015. Following is a link to it with a pic of my font and any other info I had

https://www.antiquers.com/threads/can-anyone-tell-me-about-this-kerosene-lamp.5766/

--- Susan
