Ha ha,at the risk of sounding stupid.. But I can’t see the signature on the Aloe Vera painting. Very nice painting that

May be but... I only find him active (as a member, with his family of the local Dutch Reformed Church) in the late 1970s. Daughter Ann-Louise Craill was born in 1962 and should be around. (And isn't the internet wonderful/awful? One wants to be respectful but no one has any privacy.)

I'm only finding his wife and daughter in Windhoek in 1983.

Certainly true what you say.. Both wonderful and scary/awful at the same time. However I have always found your “people finding skills’ very impressive.

 

Signed bottom right hand corner,not very clear.Maybe someone can enhance the signature.

Agree. There must be more of his work out there somewhere.

Did e-mail him last week but got no response.

 

Found another one of his paintings at the same charity shop. Much smaller. 18 x 25cm. Nice little painting
