Featured Old Blanc de Chine

Hello all, miss this group. In my recent travels, I came home sick as a dog(actually, dogs don’t get this sick ). Anyway, bought from an online auction overseas, I just received this, old Chinese “BLANC DE CHINE” porcelain figurine. As you can see it was a lamp, but the lamp shade is in horrible torn condition as well as the lamp post, so I quickly discarded all that I saw as waste.

These two beauties are stunning to hold even with most of their fingers broken. 10”tall. Such unique serenity in their face’s. There is a “bell” shaped imprint on the back(see photo) that I truly hope someone out here has seen before. Never saw such a marking.

They were definitely made prior to being made into a lamp. Was hoping some dating could be guessed. The wood base is cut to their elegant drapping dress and the bottom and underneath its crudely cut for the switch and pole(removed) wiring. And finally, yes I know we do not do valuations out here, but was wondering just how much does the finger damage takeaway from an item like this? The styling of the faces and base are very unique from what I can find online.

Anxious to hear opinions.

Thank you AJ , the photos don’t do them justice. Can not find another one with these adolescents innocents. Maybe it can help with dating. Hope there is someone out there that can ID the mark. So strange to me.
