If you change the title to Please Help Bombshell, bet you'll get some of the guys to look at it sooner. :joyful:

At the top of the thread next to the title - there should be a "thread tools" drop-down menu. Click on that and then click on edit title.

You have only a limited amount of time when you can edit after posting something. Not sure how long, but guessing it was too late when you tried. Alas.

Looks like a practice dummy bomb, most of ours were painted that type of blue. Sometimes they emitted smoke.

Should be a practice bomb with that color but I’ve never seen that model before, looks “early” maybe pre-ww2. I think as it I’d uncommon might be worth $200. Or so if you can find a buyer, and certify it is inert. I personally would have no problem opening up the body to peek, but if u do it make sure your life insurance premium is paid up. I’m 99% sure it isn’t dangerous, but there could still be some kind of spotting charge in it. They usually “fire” out of the tail if there is one. Many are basically a long 10 ga. Shotgun shell that fires yellows smoke.

Thanks guys I figured a practice bomb but I don't know much about that kind of stuff so I figured I would make sure. An yeah no I will not try this at home LOL. It came with an estate I bought. The guy was in the navy on the USS George but no telling when he picked it up
