Featured Old earrings question

Just what I always wanted.
Except you can't wear regular hooks with those, only creoles/hoops.

My earlobes are on the small side, although they are detached. Noticed when I was having them pierced that the left one folds back slightly, so that when I looked at the ink dots the woman doing the piercing put on to get my approval for where to pierce, & I put a finger behind to push the lobe forward to see better, saw the dot on that side was not centered. She redid the dot, I OKed, but think hole on that side angles down a little. I also developed scarring around the piercing on both sides, keeping the openings small. They still start to close if I don't wear earrings for a few days.

 

So do mine.

 

A few years ago, I bought a pair of coral earrings from a Ukrainian seller. They are marked 585 and did indeed test as 14K when I got them. The seller offered no info other than "vintage". They, too, have those same back-to-front hooks and I was worried I'd not be able to manage that but found it works easily!
My earrings have no other marks than the 585, I've always wondered about their possible age and origination. (I've presumed mid-20th century-ish.)
