Hello, I hope you are all doing well.

This machine is 3ft tall, about 60lbs, and mostly made of cast iron. The mirror is still there but it is missing a piece of glass, the locks, and a porcelain label.

I am interested in restoring it or finding a buyer, but I can't seem to find any others like it.

Maybe some of you know more or could help me decide what to do with it.

Thanks for looking and happy holidays!

Must be German, the Austrian small coin was the Heller. That one is 10 Pfenings per piece.

I think value would depend more on where you are than what it is.

Are you suggesting it would be worth more in eu than in the states?

I believe the paint is original and all of the gold is leafing. It has a really nice patina. Rather than a restoration, it seems this one is suited for replacing a few missing pieces and keeping it this way.

    Thanks again for the input.

I think it's amazing as is though I would replace what I could and come up with a way (wax?) to keep it from degrading further.

Very cool. I think any collector of coin-ops would want this but it might do better back where it came from. I don't know what the collector base for such things is over there but would think anyone interested in design and technology would be interested. It has good cross-over appeal. The one in the link brought pretty good money but was shy of even the low estimate.

For anyone potentially interested in this piece, I can confirm all of the inside parts are there. Do to the dry climate, the rust is fairly insignificant. It is very dusty on the inside so I think as far as the mechanics of it go, it just needs some cleaning and lubrication. It seems the back panel has never been taken off because the paint over the screws is untouched. There is popcorn and some other junk in the coin slots from kids I'm sure... haha

I have decided to leave it this way, for now, as I think I may try to find a buyer and let them decide how to proceed.

I see there is a selling section here that I have never dabbled in. What do you all think?

    Copy that, thank you.

I have it listed in the selling section with a few new photos now.

That really does not mean much, everyone has a something written under their avatar, Well Known, Active, Moderator or a slogan of their choice.
