    Hello dear friends,

Please help me with identification of this wine pitcher.
I am not entirely sure it is Italian. And without marks on the bottom I don't know where to start.
    Is it earthenware or stoneware?
Also, which Saint could it be?

    I would appreciate any information.

    It is beautiful, Boddah.
The saint looks like St Francis of Assisi, with the sun being a reference to his 'Laudum Creaturarum' or Praise of the Creatures, commonly known as the 'Canticle of the Sun'.
