old jack

    Have a look at this old jack. I am guessing this was used to move my grandmother's house. apparently they were building a new highway in New York State. so my grandmother's house had to be moved out of the way. maybe jack1.jpg 50 or 100 yards. somehow the old house was jacked up and moved. I'm guessing this is one of the jacks used for that procedure. The base is 5.5 inches. height about 6 or 7 inches depending as seen in photo, but will get taller of coure as you turn the handle jack2.jpg jack3.jpg jack4.jpg jack6.jpg
