Unfortunately it only has half of a shade!!:(:sour::banghead:
The base feels like real bronze, but I'm no expert, I can't find any markings. The base is covered in a piece of leather, and I don't know if it came that way or if someone adhered it later, because I have another lamp that I am going to ask for help with from the same estate, and it too has a leather bottom.
Any help with maker, age, origin, etc., is wonderful, and thanks for your time.

I wonder if you took it to a big antiques show to see if the glass grinder can make it flat and then use it for a sconce???

I'm going out on a limb to say that shade does not look like it went with that base anyway.

Hi Bev, I'm pretty sure it goes together. I can see the back where broken, and the inner, upper area fits seamlessly/perfectly with the top metal portion of the lamp.

I didn't see any shades sans lamps on that page, but I'm sure they are out there. I never saw these when I was collecting Tree in the Meadow and now I've sold it all. Hmmm. Nope, don't need to start a new collection.

Reverse painted so not Tiffany style. Tiffany never did any reverse painted lamps. Quality is not good enough for Handel. Maybe Miller or Jeanette.

The shade is probably Czech. May have been imported to go with the base.
The last picture of the base - looks like someone glued a cardboard to the bottom. I doubt that is original.

The underside of the base may or may not be marked with the foundry. If you are going to rewire, you could look for a foundry mark.

Great Brad, thanks so much for the help & clarification on "Tiffany style" oops! I removed the bottom leather and still found no marks.
In your opinion, do you think I could list this lamp without a shade? Would there be any interest?, Or should I just hold on to it for my next yard sale:cool:?
    Thanks again

You could try listing without the shade as a 1920s-30s Art Nouveau style lamp base.
Is it pot metal or brass?

Would be worth listing without the shade. Not going to get rich but should have some interest beyond a yard sale price.

Thanks Cluttered :) It's pot metal or some type of metal.
