    Hi folks,

I am cleaning out the attic, and I found a lot of this China. It is marked with the green M a s shown. I can't seem to find any reference or pictures of this pattern on line anywhere. Curiously, it appears that the hand painted gold was sort of crudely done, not like other Nippon work I have seen in the past. The provenance of this collection was that it was my great aunt's who was an employee of the Livingston family's estate on the Hudson River - the Livingston's moved to Florida in the 1930's.

Is anyone familiar with this pattern?

    Any information appreciated...

Scrolling down to entry 135 (they are not in numerical order) will tell you about this mark, used from approx 1911 to (perhaps) 1921.

Noritake patterns of this period rarely have pattern names.
