Old or made to look it? No marks

    Hi,

    I have no idea on this item It came in a lot of older brass lion head foot jars but not sure if this is just made to look older Do you think it is transfer-ware? There is so much crazing and that makes me suspicious like it was done on purpose Not flow blue, right? Is it a clamshell? The center reminds me of a Fragonard scene What are key words for this? Any information is greatly appreciated

    And not really made to fool anyone. I do think it's not a new piece - 70s, maybe?

    I'd think that a bit early as, to my recollection, this type of import started showing up a bit later.
