The design faded and came back between the layers that got stipped away. It’s now a size 5.5/6. It looks like it was created in a solid piece. I’m going to look up waxing methods to preserve it.

    I did! @komokwa

    We had a festival out on the central coast and my fingernail suffered a fracture during the festivities (code for I drank too much wine, tripped in a hole and fell). :eek:

    So to keep it even, all of them got the chop chop. They will be back in about 3 weeks. I grow dragon-lady nails quickly.

    I keep telling the love of my life to keep her's at a certain length.....but no....then she busts one ...and they all get taken down...
    & so it goes !!
    Next time I see your lovely lengths.....you'll have to keep me from putting french nail treatment on the tips !!! Bawwhahaha!!!!!!!!

    It still looks nice, but as you can see it was never worn (no wear on inside), and there is no age-related patina.
    I can recommend Renaissance wax. It is great for preservation, won't leave an unnatural shine and it can be removed.
